Check the month and level. FAO reported an FFPI average of 133.3 points for August 2026.
Check the comparator
Check the comparator. The index was up 2.5 points, or 1.9%, from its revised July level. The point change and percentage are two expressions of the same month-to-month comparison.
Check the scale
Check the scale. The FFPI measures monthly changes in international prices of a basket of food commodities. It describes an international index, rather than the retail price of one product or shopping basket in Zimbabwe.
